Welcome Cortnie Francis - our newest BCM Dircetor. Cortnie will serve to reach students at Benedict College and Allen University in Columbia. She is a Columbia native with a love for family, board games, traveling and musicals. Cortnie grew up in the church but started a personal relationship with the Lord while in college at the University of South Carolina. Upon graduation Cortnie became a member of Midtown Fellowship: Two Notch. Cortnie is married to her dynamic husband, Dom Francis and they welcomed their sweet baby girl Sarai in April 2026. Cortnie is thrilled to continue her passion for helping young adults grow in their faith while navigating the college experience at Benedict College and Allen University. Cortnie hopes to one day be on the Prince is Right, travel to Italy and spend her lifetime sharing the Love of Christ that’s transformed her life.

College campuses are one of the most strategic mission fields in the world. That’s why SCBaptist churches are working together to engage them.

Students are asking life’s biggest questions, open to finding truth, forming beliefs that shape the rest of their lives, and encountering people from around the world. Most are in secular colleges where none of those searches are guided by the Gospel… except when the church engages them.

That’s why on-campus ministry matters. That why we have Baptist Collegiate Ministry.

Together… our churches engage 30+ colleges and universities in SC. We share the Gospel. Make disciples. Develop leaders. Connect students to the local church. And send them on mission.

The college campus isn’t just where we reach the next generation. It’s where we reach the generation that God can use to reach the world.

There are 3.62 billion unreached people in the world who need to hear the good news of the Gospel. Why not hear it from YOU? Apply to serve through BCMGO today at bcmgo.org.
