A new homeschool year can bring a mix of excitement, anticipation...and maybe a few nerves too.

Whether this is your first year or you've been homeschooling for years, you don't have to begin with everything perfectly planned.

Give your family time to settle into a rhythm. Give yourself permission to adjust when something isn't working. And remember, you don't have to figure it all out alone.

Swipe through for a little encouragement as you begin another homeschool year. 💛

Scripture memorization doesn't have to mean adding another subject to your homeschool day.

Often, the most meaningful moments happen through simple, consistent habits woven into your family's daily rhythm.

Whether it's reciting a verse at breakfast, practicing during a walk, or reviewing together before bedtime, those small moments add up over time.

Our newest blog shares practical ideas for making Bible memorization a natural part of your homeschool—not another item on your checklist.

💛 How has your family incorporated Scripture into your homeschool routine?

💛 LET'S CLEAR THAT UP

One misconception we hear from time to time is:

"SCAIHS is only necessary if my child wants to go to college."

The truth is, SCAIHS serves homeschool families from kindergarten through graduation.

While we certainly help families navigate high school, transcripts, and college admissions, those are just one part of what we do.

Many families join SCAIHS from the very beginning because they value having experienced homeschool counselors, curriculum guidance, record-keeping support, encouragement, and a trusted organization to walk alongside them throughout their homeschool journey.

Whether your child is just learning their letters or preparing for graduation, our goal is the same: to equip and encourage your family every step of the way.

💛 What has been one way SCAIHS has supported your family over the years? We'd love to hear your story!

If this is your first year homeschooling, there's a good chance you've asked yourself at least once...

"Am I doing enough?"

The truth is, every experienced homeschool parent was once exactly where you are.

There will be wonderful days.
There will be hard days.
There will be days when everything goes according to plan—and days when it doesn't.

That's okay.

Homeschooling isn't about creating a perfect classroom at home. It's about faithfully investing in your children, one day at a time.

Give yourself grace. Celebrate the small victories. Ask questions when you need help.
Most importantly, remember that you don't have to homeschool alone.

We're cheering you on every step of the way. 💛

year?

I homeschool with SCAIHS so I don't have to homeschool alone. The support from my counselors has been instrumental to me continuing to homeschool my children.

One of our favorite things about SCAIHS is that no two homeschool days look exactly alike.

Some families are gathered around the kitchen table. ☕📚
Some are exploring on a field trip. 🦖
Some are spending the day at the library. 📖
Some are learning while on vacation. 🌊✈️

Wherever today finds you, we'd love to hear from you!
