🎉 What an AMAZING Week at Upward Learning Center! 🌟
This week at ULC, our students have been learning, exploring, creating, and having LOTS of fun! 🥳 From puzzles and life-skills activities to reading, virtual learning, and exciting math games, every day brought a new opportunity to grow. 🧩📖🔢💻
We also worked on learning and spelling our names, enjoyed sticker lessons, explored geography, discovered patterns, colored, used our imaginations through make-believe play, and had a blast playing in tunnels! 🌎🖍️✨🪄
And that's just some of what we've been doing! 😍
🌱 Why so many different activities? Because young children learn best when they can see it, touch it, move it, create it, talk about it, and experience it! These varied experiences help build early academic skills while strengthening problem-solving, fine and gross motor skills, language, independence, creativity, social skills, and confidence.

The smiles, laughter, dancing, singing, learning, and friendships have already made this week so special! Our little learners jumped right in—playing, painting, exploring, singing, dancing, enjoying outdoor fun, and discovering new things together. 🎨🖌️🎶🌳

From phonics lessons and story time 📖🔤 to exciting games like Zingo, every moment is an opportunity to learn while having FUN!
A huge WELCOME to our returning families and our new students and families. And to our amazing teachers and staff—thank you for creating a loving, nurturing environment where our children can learn, grow, and shine! 💕✨

And what a week it has been! From singing and dancing 💃🏽🎶 to painting, phonics, story time, Zingo, outdoor adventures, and plenty of play, our students have been busy learning, laughing, and making memories! 🖍️📖🔤🎲🌳

🌟 A Hero's Story, A Child's Dream 🌟

Today, Upward Learning Center was filled with smiles, laughter, and inspiration as we welcomed our special guest and friend, Retired Chief Master Sergeant Anthony Stovall!

Thank you, Chief Stovall, for generously sharing your time, your heart, and your life experiences with our Preschool and K-12 students. Through the joy of reading, engaging conversations, fun activities, and meaningful interaction, you reminded our children that courage, kindness, service, and perseverance are qualities that can change the world.

As stories came alive through the pages of a book, imaginations soared, confidence grew, and young minds discovered that reading opens doors to endless possibilities. Students also learned the importance of leadership, respect, teamwork, and believing in themselves while having an unforgettable time together.

Like seeds planted in good soil, today's lessons will continue to grow in the hearts of our students for years to come.
