There are two moments of wedding day that fulfill us and remind us of why we do:

1) Sending the bride down the aisle (of course)
2) Watching people having the time of their lives on a full dance floor.

Andrew & Maria's beachside wedding was an unforgettable experience as the couple exchanged vows in front of the sunset over the Tampa Bay. Not only did friends and family get to witness their union, but they got to live through their love story.

The couple met at work, as Maria was newer to the states and self-concious about her English and accent. That didn't matter to Andrew, who loved her just the way she is. He loved her so much he made her his wife and translated part of his vows to Spanish, so that her family traveling in from Colombia could understand.

It's moments like these that make our hearts flutter and eyes water. We can imagine how it feels being loved ones witnessing these moments.

🤍✨️ A little bit about Sammond Events founder, Kylie Sammond.

I have been in the wedding and events industry for over 12 years. My experience has ranged from working in venues to working in resorts like Canyon Ranch and Disney World. I started Sammond Events over 2 years ago and am grateful for the journey and connections I have made so far.

We just had our son around 6 months ago and life hasn't been the same ever since! We are often at the library and the zoo, taking it all in! We don't share much about him online, but sometimes you will catch a glimpse of the back of his cute head.

I am also the very proud mom to a 13 year old rescue dog, and we are about to celebrate a decade of fur-ever in May. Some of my non-negotiables of everyday are to take him for a sniff walk and a 20 minute treadmill walk.

Japanese culture plays a big role in the Sammond house! My husband's mother is from Osaka so there are many traditions we keep in our family. Some are, no shoes in the house and giving our children Japanese middle names - just like my husband!

I've lived in a handful of states including Arizona, Georgia, and Florida; but California is where I consider home and most of my family remain. Some of you have even gotten a taste of my home in a bottle!🍷
