What a beautiful time of worship we had on Sunday! Pastor Michael Petillo also brought a very convicting but necessary word titled, “Be Careful Which Voice You Marry.”

In Revelation 2, Jesus praises a church full of love, faith, and service—yet rebukes them for tolerating a voice that made sin seem acceptable.
Not every voice that affirms you is from God.
Sometimes we seek messages that make us comfortable instead of ones that call us to truth.
✨ Truth doesn’t adjust to our desires.
✨ Compromise always starts with what we justify.
✨ What you listen to shapes who you become.
The answer isn’t shame—it’s the cross.
When you truly see God’s goodness and sacrifice, you begin to trust His Word, even when it challenges you.
Choose the voice that leads you to truth, not comfort.

We blessed some beautiful new additions to our church family on Sunday. Elder Tim Coen brought a word from Proverbs 4:18-23 titled, “When You Hear God’s Voice, Respond Right Away to His Invitation.”

As we remembered those who laid down their lives for the safety of our country together with our children during Family Sunday, Pastor Michael Petillo spoke a message from Isaiah 7:1-14 title, “The Assault on Christ in You - The Battle for the Soul.”

Our church held a graduation Sunday service for our graduates. Pastor Michael Petillo had an edifying and instructional message for our graduates from Judges 1:11-15 titled, “You Got the House, But Where’s the Water?”.

The message centers on the story where Caleb gives his daughter Acsah land and, upon her request, springs of water. This passage is used as a metaphor for graduates embarking on new chapters in life—reminding them that material gifts and opportunities (like land, careers, relationships) are valuable, but true fulfillment comes from spiritual nourishment, symbolized by the springs of water.

Acsah’s request for springs highlights the importance of seeking God’s presence and the Holy Spirit as the foundation for a flourishing life. The message warns that worldly achievements alone cannot bring lasting peace or joy.

Graduates are called to seek God’s presence, stay rooted in scripture, and remain connected to spiritual community. The promise is that, even when life feels like a desert, God can transform it into “pools of living water” through His grace.
