Meet Puddin. She has been waiting for a home for OVER A YEAR AND A HALF. 💔

That’s more than 18 months of watching other dogs come and go while she waits for someone to finally choose her. Puddin is a sweet, goofy 5-year-old American Staffordshire mix who LOVES belly rubs and has plenty of personality to share. She is energetic and playful when she’s ready for some fun, but once her zoomies are over, she is perfectly happy becoming a couch potato beside her person. 🛋️

Puddin would do best as the only pet in the home so she can soak up all the love for herself. She does well out in public and ignores other dogs while on walks. She can be nervous during car rides at first, but once she settles in, she is good as gold.

After spending so long in a shelter, Puddin needs a patient family who will give her time to adjust to home life. She has waited long enough. She deserves a family who will see past her kennel and give her the chance she has been waiting for. 🧡

Meet Archie! 🐾

Archie is a sweet and gentle Shepherd mix puppy with an amazing personality and a heart full of love. He absolutely adores being held and cuddled, and his gentle nature makes him a truly special little companion.

Archie is blind and has been diagnosed with microphthalmia, a condition in which the eyes are abnormally small and underdeveloped. While his blindness means he may experience the world a little differently, Archie doesn’t let it slow him down. With patience, consistency, and a little understanding, he can learn to navigate his surroundings and enjoy all the wonderful things puppyhood has to offer.

We’re looking for a special adopter who is excited to give Archie the loving home he deserves—someone who is willing to learn about caring for a blind dog, provide him with a safe and consistent environment, and help him grow into a happy, confident companion.

In return, Archie will give you something truly priceless: unconditional love, endless puppy sweetness, and a lifetime of cuddles. ❤️

Artist Simon Weckert’s designed a button-down shirt with flowery, blurry globs of green and pink. The shirt, which he describes as “digital camouflage.” It confuses the algorithm. @simonweckert designed digital camouflage as a response to the proliferation of AI-powered surveillance cameras that detect people, vehicles, animals, bicycles, and other objects in their field of view. Many of these AI-powered cameras can detect when a person is lying down, “anomalous behavior” such as people loitering, people fighting, or an abandoned package, which can lead to a police response. These cameras are already relatively commonplace around the world, but Weckert created it because police recently deployed these types of cameras outside of Kotbusser Tor, a popular subway stop in Berlin. They are the first police-run object recognition surveillance cameras in the city. “Obviously people don’t like it because it means that AI is tracking the movements and behaviors of people. It’s one thing to have somebody behind the camera watching you, but now we have AI doing this kind of analysis,” Weckert told 404 Media’s @jasonkoebler. “It can detect if somebody’s laying on the ground so that means homeless people could be detected and police get triggered.” Link in bio to read the full story.
