1st Saturday Volunteer Day in the Community Garden at 571 Walnut, Memphis.

We are excited to begin our summer Volunteer Garden Season! The 1st Saturday of each month, unless rain or other circumstances, volunteers will have the opportunity to participate and work in Urban Oasis.

Since it is extremely hot this summer ☀️ 🔥 we will work:
Date: Saturday, July 1 (1st Saturday)
Time: 6 am - 10 am
Location: 571 Walnut, Memphis, 38126

Volunteers should be sure to bring:
Water 💦 Juice 🥤 Gatorade 🧃Hats 🧢 Sunscreen 🧴 Snacks 🍪Mosquito/Bug Repellent 🦟 Gloves🧤

Volunteers should also wear protective clothing and gear such as gym shoes 👟 👟 garden boots (waterproof), long sleeve shirts 🧥long pants 👖 socks 🧦 goggles (lawn care) 👓 etc.

We’re excited for your new journey at Advance Memphis🎊🎊🎊

We're so excited to announce that we have added some new staff members to the Advance Memphis team! Elena Lattner and Milton Craft are two new part-time workers. Milton and his wife have been volunteering with us in our community garden, and Milton has now joined our staff as our new Programs Liason. Elena Lattner has worked in non-profits for many years and has joined the team as our Programs Coordinator. It's been a joy to welcome them to our staff!
