Dawson and Tyler Helms will be taking the Hull Sonata for Trumpet and Piano on the road next week to share at the International Trumpet Guild (Official) in Rochester, NY!

This is a challenging piece based on a five-note figure that Dawson wrote in January 2025. It captures the full range of the instrument’s majestic and virtuosic capabilities, while also exploring moments of lyrical expression and humor.

A little clip from our family finale last night in Dresden for the Iris Festival.

We played 3 pieces from our Reflections album (link in profile), the kids each shared one of their recent competition winning classical pieces, Dawson did some improvised hymns and a duet, and we finished all together with a fresh version of In Christ Alone.
