Cold Spring Tots Park

It was a rainy and joyful cleanup day yesterday! We weeded, picked up trash and leaves, and replenished the sand in the sandbox!

A huge thank you to Girl Scout Daisy Troop 1362 for bringing yummy snacks and helping get the park summer ready, Granite Site Work for generously donating fresh sand, and the Village of Cold Spring Roadways and Facilities Department for their time and support that helped get this cleanup done so efficiently.

Just a reminder that The Hub Philipstown is a wonderful resource available to the families in our community. Thanks for all that you do!

Sand wasps are back in the sandbox at the park. We are working to get rid of them as soon as possible. In the meantime, you can continue to use the sandbox at your discretion. Thank you to everyone who came out for yesterday's cleanup to volunteer their time and hard work!

The rain held out just long enough for us to have a beautiful day, and the park is ready for lots of spring and summer fun!

We'd also like to thank Pidala Landscape Material and Supply for replenishing our mulch, Angie's Bake Shop for fueling us with the most delicious treats, and the Village of Cold Spring for their time and support that helped this cleanup get done so efficiently. We are so grateful for all of you!

TOTS PARK CLOSED MONDAY 1 APRIL
Our of an abundance of caution, Tots Park will be closed on Monday, 1 April so that deadwood can be removed from trees and the trees over the climbing equipment can be properly limbed up. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.

Hi Friends of Tots Park!

You might notice some new signage down at the park on your next visit. We have posted signs to remind visitors that we cannot accept toy donations outside of scheduled donation days. Stay tuned for information about our next toy swap day, when you can bring your gently-used toys down to the park.

Toys that are donated on swap days will be either kept at the park or available for folks to take home.

Thank you for your cooperation and support in keeping our beloved park fun and safe for our tiniest community members!

Hi Friends, your friendly volunteers will be weeding and taking care of the grass at the park tomorrow at 3PM. We appreciate all the help we can get. We are a volunteer run park. Many hands make light work. Thank you!
