Washington destroyed USAID markets, for one thing. Input and borrowing costs are painfully high. Add tariffs and the Iran war impact on fuel and fertilizer costs. Net net: voting has consequences and Iowa farmers are feeling those consequences right now.

Excellent house party this evening in Clinton with Mike Zimmer for Iowa and I! Thanks to our host Steve Shaff for organizing and making sure no one left hungry. We heard quite a range of topics brought up - Medicaid cuts, partisanship, special education, data centers, property taxes, to name some of the highlights.

Friends trust friends more than they trust ads. Your opinion is more credible authentic and persuasive than any TV commercial. So please spread the word. Every vote you can get our County candidates bring us closer to the change we need to make our lives livable once again.
