It has been amazing to return to my roots on Whidbey this last year and to have had the privilege to teach and ride at some of the same beautiful farms that I used to ride at as a kid growing up here! Last week I had the opportunity to teach in the same fields where I once took cross country lessons on my little POA mare, pictured below probably almost 30 years ago!! My journey and path with horses continues on and comes full circle here on Whidbey ♥️
What a fun morning doing grid work today! River and her lovely horse Del made easy work of this exercise 🤩 I am so enjoying the talented group of riders I get the privilege of teaching up here on Whidbey ♥️
I have a few openings for morning lessons on my books right now, a few Monday afternoon lesson spots twice a month in king/Snohomish county and some august dates open for clinics/pony club lessons! Contact for details.

After a bit of a break, I am very happy to be returning to some teaching again, primarily on Whidbey Island and north, but I do have some availability to travel to barns on the Eastside (Redmond/Woodinville/Monroe etc) on Wednesdays. If you’re interested please PM me for details. I am also so excited to be one of the clinicians again this year at the Experience Eventing weekend at the Washington State Horse Park! I am honored to be teaching alongside some fabulous horsewomen and looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting some great new people!

We had a fun, quick outing to Caber Farm Saturday for the CVPC one days, very proud of for doing her move up to MP and finishing 5th! had redemption on the training course with a clear Xc run to end in 7th in Sr training! did her move up to novice with a much improved dressage and show Jump test and an educational Xc ride!
