You say I’m crying wolf, like I’m chasing a lie,
But silence isn’t proof, it’s just truth passing by.

Just because you don’t see him doesn’t mean he’s not real. Some wolves wear a suit, but still their hunger you will feel.

You settle in straw, built on headlines and trends.
Quick comfort, thin walls where illusion pretends.
You say, “I’m secure, there’s no reason for fear,”
While the wind hums a warning you refuse to hear.

This wolf isn’t huffing, he’s shaping the game.
Funding every structure while shifting the blame.

He doesn’t need force when you opened the door,
You welcomed him in, now he has control of the floor.

He hides under wool, calls control “keeping peace,”
Feeds you poison disguised as relief and release.

Toxic miracles polished, convincing, refined.
While he feeds on your trust and rewires your mind.

And you call me the fool for refusing the mask.
For questioning power, for daring to ask.

But I see every crack in the stories they sell.
Where comfort is crafted and truth is withheld.

So build as you wish, but understand what it takes,
Every shortcut you choose is a truth that it breaks.
Because the wolf never rushes, he studies, he waits…

As I wrap up my education and move into my career, I’m dialing back how much time I spend on art—but using it more intentionally. I’m taking all the random materials I’ve accumulated and turning them into a ridiculous amount of flowers. Can’t wait to share the final results once they’re done.

For most of my life, I’ve held onto every doodle, sketch, blueprint, rough draft, and idea dump I’ve ever created. Post-it notes, half-ripped papers, note cards, random scraps of cardstock — all of it.
For years, I told myself I’d organize it someday.

Warm. Fuzzy. Proud. Grounded.
Sometimes the things we think are too big are just waiting for the right moment. This one feels like a huge personal win.
