"Bashadle" Roma is a Fake Made Up Name to replace "Hungarian-Slovak Gypsies in America" by Ian Hancock and Bill Duna. They have no problem telling you they made this name up to do this. Hungarian-Slovak Gypsies is a name for these Roma that immigrated from Kassa, Hungary in the late 1880s to the main cities of Braddock PA, Cleveland Oh, and Youngstown Oh. Kassa, Hungary today is Kosice, Slovakia. After the breakup of the Austria-Hungary Empire, Slovakia became part of the Czech Republic making it Czechoslovakia. Slovakia and the Czech Republic separated and Slovakia finally became a country in Europe. Today Kassa, Hungary is referred to as "old Hungary".
They were called Hungarian Slovak Gypsies in America not Europe. This name identified them as the Roma that came from Europe and named in the English Language. Just like Little Italy, Greektown, Chinatown, German Octoberfest, Polish, Croatians, and many different ethnic people. The United States if a Country of Immigrants, it always was and always will be.
Other Romany people immigrated to the United states also. Their names were much older than the "Hungarian Slovak Gypsies in America". The Vlax, Sinti, Romichel, Loveri, Cala, and several more. They were not settled in one area or one city like the Hungarian Slovak Gypsies for 140 years, their names were in the country of their dialect, that is why Hungarian Slovak Gypsies was in English. There were Romany that did stay in one city but did not stay together in one area for 140 years. Their Europe names continued in America.
There were NO BASHALDE GYPSIES IN EUROPE. Bashalde does not defined them like it did for 140 years in many news media articles, book, journals, and studies. The word Bashalde only shows when it is with Ian Hancock or Bill Duna. It does not show up in our ancestors history in America, only in Ian Hancock and Bill Dunas history.
The Hungarian Slovak Gypsies still in Europe are called Romungro and Boyash. The name Bashalse is not known in Europe or by the people it supposedly represents. It has never been mentioned in History only by Ian Hancock and Bill Duna. Hungarian Slovak Gypsies is 140 years old.

Not one mention of the Fake Name of "Bashalde" Roma. Ian Hancock and Bill Duna made this fake name up to replace "Hungarian-Slovak Gypsies in America". They had no right to do this. The only time "Bashalde' comes up is from Ian Hancock and Bill Duna. No reference to "Bashalde" in the "Hungarian-Slovak Gypsies in America" history.
Romani Americans are also known for their music. In the United States, Hungarian Slovak Gypsies, mostly violists, have played popular Hungarian music at immigrant weddings. Historically, Gypsies have contributed to music Americans play. Flamenco, which Gypsies are credited with creating in Spain, has its place in America, particularly in the Southwest. Django Reinhardt, a well-known European Gypsy who contributed to American culture, is perhaps the all-time greatest jazz guitarist. Furthermore, Klezmer music of Jewish immigrants overlaps with music of Eastern European Gypsies, especially in oriental, flatted-seventh chords played on a violin or clarinet.

Bashalde the Fake Name made up by Ian Hancock and Bill Duna is not a recognized name. They changed Hungarian Slovak Gypsies in America to the fake name of "Bashalde". Ian Hancock and Bill Duna think they are the 'King of the Gypsies" and that is what they act like in their own minds.

"Bashalde" is a FAKE MADE UP NAME to replace Hungarian-Slovak Gypsies in America. This is from the "Gypsy Lore Society", do you think this organization that was founded in 1888 would call them "Hungarian-Slovak Gypsies". Look and see what they call them.
Ian Hancock and Bill Duna should be shame of their selves for trying to erase a heritage that has been for hundreds of years. They have no respect for our ancestors.

Bashalde Gypsies is a made up fake name by Ian Hancock and Bill Duna. They both have a history of giving false information on the Romany people. "Bashalde" Roma is make up it only shows with Ian Hancock. They only changed the Wikipedia site "Hungarian-Slovak Gypsies in America" to "Bashalde".
Ian Hancock and Bill Duna did not change any other sites with the word Gypsy or Gypsies such as the https://www.facebook.com/gypsyloresociety and they say the word "Gypsy" is a slur word, yet they all use it.
Ian Hancock's nationality has been in question. They say he is a "Traveler" from the UK, they are not Gypsies.
