The Cleveland Orchestra
“One of the finest ensembles in the country (if not the world)" — New York Times
Under the leadership of Music Director Franz Welser-Möst, The Cleveland Orchestra has become one of the most sought-after performing ensembles in the world. In concerts at its winter home at Severance Hall and at each summer’s Blossom Festival, in residencies from Miami to Vienna, and on tour around the world, The Cleveland Orchestra sets standards of artistic excellence, creative programming, and community engagement.

As the fourth annual Mandel Opera & Humanities Festival comes to a close, we’re reflecting on the remarkable performances, conversations, and community experiences centered around the theme of courage.
As Festival Curator Terence Blanchard shared:
“The 2026 Mandel Opera & Humanities Festival is about courage, the courage to speak your mind, the courage to be able to listen and truly hear, the courage to allow all of us to have a voice and come together as a community should.”
Through music, storytelling, and thoughtful dialogue, this year’s festival brought artists, audiences, and community partners together in inspiring and impactful ways 🤍
Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s festival possible! Until next year! 🙌🏼
