Happy National Coaches Day! ⚽️
We’re so proud to celebrate Coach Normarie Caraballo from Buhrer Dual Language Academy!
Originally from Puerto Rico, Coach Caraballo has been with SCORES for two years and brings so much joy and energy to the field. When asked what she liked best about coaching, she said: "I like to get involved with the children so they have someone to grow and develop with. I enjoy giving them love and helping them feel at ease."
We’re lucky to have her on our team! ❤️
Game Days start October 8! See you on the field!

Week one is in the books! ⚽️✍️
Our Poet-Athletes spent the first week of program playing soccer, writing poetry, and, most importantly, having fun.
We’re so happy to be back!
September is Youth Soccer Month! ⚽️ We asked our Poet-Athletes what soccer means to them, and the answers were pretty simple: having fun, being with friends, staying active, and being part of a team.
“I come to soccer because I just want to have fun at the end of the day. Then I have some energy to do my homework” - Sawmia, 9 ✨
Soccer is one of the three pillars of Cleveland SCORES, alongside poetry and service. Read more about what our Poet-Athletes have to say about the game: https://www.clevelandscores.org/post/poet-athletes-get-a-kick-out-of-soccer
