HOPRLab

The MERLab and the HOPRLab appear to have similar taste in coffee mugs...

Deborah, Wrane, and I just finished presenting our summer research project at the Summer Undergraduate Research Poster Fair!

New office! Earlier this week the Department of Psychology moved our faculty offices out of the Union Building and over to Julka Hall. The HOPRLab itself will remain in the Union Building this semester, with plans to come to Julka in January

CSU Psychology faculty ready to celebrate our 2026 graduates

We had a great time at the first (annual?) HOPRLab end-of-semester celebration last night! I should have taken a group picture, but I at least got a couple of shots...

With my name badge retired to the coat rack, another SIOP conference is over (actually, I still need to get my receipts in order, but doing this post is more fun). I learned a lot (mostly about neurodivergence and work-nonwork issues), I enjoyed catching up with old friends, as well as meeting new ones. Although I'm kicking myself for not getting a picture, I also continued the tradition of meeting up with Cleveland State folks for a sweet treat (this time it was beignets from Cafe du Monde). Until next year...

Finally!

Final leg of the journey delayed. Not the end of the world...

The first leg of my flight home is on time... So far. Plenty of conference folks on the flight, including the person who introduced me to the field when I was an undergraduate (thanks again, Steven!)
