It is sad to hear, but Funk singer Betty Davis has passed away. She lived her life in seclusion after an arduous career, yet she was the muse and influence for Miles Davis, her ex husband. She also influenced Santana, Jiimi Hendrix, and other artist. She became famous with her songs like "They Say I'm Different", and was also one of the first black models for Seventeen Magazine in the 70's. She wrote and produced her own music, and she was a major icon that inspired many later artist. Rest in Peace.
