Consider going "on walkabout" in the beautiful Cuyahoga Valley National Park for a few days. Leave your car behind and walk along the towpath to the village of Penninsula, then stay overnight at the Silver Fern B&B. On day two, continue on to Akron. You will be rejuvenated as you continue on the trails and paths of the National Park. In Akron, you have a choice: return via the scenic railroad or stay in the city at the newly minted Cascade Lofts or Courtyard by Marriot. Enjoy all that the city has to offer including a jazz club, art museum, great restaurants and art galleries, all within walking distance.
