Boss K9

What the first day at Boss K9 actually looks like👀🐶

We sent Audrey and Jada to the IACP conference in California this week! We can’t wait to hear all about what they learned when they get back!

One of the things we are passionate about here at Boss K9 is investing into our employees. We care about continued education, and we are always striving to be the best we can be. 👏

Maple is one of our grooming regulars! She comes in every month for a deshedding groom. You can see in the before video she was starting to shed quite a bit. Afterwords her coat was nice and shiny. 🥰 This lady has chilled out so much for her grooms. She has come a really long way and the trust we built along the way is priceless. Great job Maple! 🍁

P.S. - We only use snaptpetgear grooming loops here because of the safety release function of the tool. It gives us peace of mind that if we need to quickly remove a dog from the tub or table, we are able to do that!

We love training deaf dogs! Louie recently lost his hearing, so we have been teaching his commands through visual cues. A shared language with our dogs is one of the most important vehicles towards a balanced relationship. I always say conflict arises when there is a lack of clarity in our communication.

The Ecollar is a great tool especially for deaf dogs. We use the vibrate button to teach “look at me.” Getting a deaf dog’s attention can be one of the hardest parts of having a deaf dog. The E-Collar Technologies from afar is able to physically communicate with the dog to look at us. From there we can provide the sign language to give them additional information. Truly an essential tool for high quality information in so many ways!

Original audio so you can hear just how into tug Lucas gets! He absolutely loves it. Here we are making this fun game into a way we can work together as a team. We love incorporating play into our training because it taps into instinct, drive, and the essence of who the dog is. They don’t all play the same. Part of our job is finding the outlets they enjoy, and teaching owners how to play with their dogs in productive ways. 🐕

‼️ADOPT ME‼️

Meet Sandy! This pup is wrapping up a 4 Week Board and Train with us. She is a little over a year old pit mix. She is currently adoptable through

We are now accepting visitations for this girl. She LOVES people, and we have slowly been working on getting her better socialized with other dogs. Her ideal home though is one without dogs. Her ideal owner will be excited to work with her since she absolutely loves to have a job. You will want to walk her, have structure, and continue to expand upon the foundational training we have provided for her. She is always excited about being alive and whatever activity we have planned for her. She is doing a great job learning an off switch, and being able to relax while distractions are present too. We are really proud of how far she come, and we know that when you meet her you will love her too.

This girl comes fully vetted, fixed, and trained. Plus you will be supporting a really great rescue in the Cleveland area. Don’t worry, you will also be receiving 3 free training sessions with us as well, so that we can teach you everything she knows. If you, or someone you know is interested in booking a meet and greet please send us a text message ~ 216.314.6385
