Reproductive rights. War powers. Epstein accountability. The MELT ICE Act. All of it on the table. All of it worth showing up for.

We are keeping the people at our seasonal shelter well fed, warm, and safe from the dangerously low temperatures. We are thankful for the amazing folks who have provided dinners for us, and we are looking for more snacks, coffee, and entertainment to fill the need until dinners. One of our favorite traditions at Akron’s TDOV is honoring trans+ individuals who are making an impact right here in our city.

Impact doesn’t have to mean reaching all of Akron. Sometimes the most powerful work happens in small circles, whether that is creating safer spaces, supporting a friend, organizing behind the scenes, or speaking up when it matters. Big or small, if someone is igniting trans visibility, we want to know about them!

Recipients of the Akron Visibility Award will have the opportunity to speak at TDOV and will receive a small gift of gratitude from TJA 🎉👏
