Our customer located in Geneva has a great opportunity for you to make some extra money!
Must be at least 18 years old. You will be responsible for monitoring testing equipment and writing down data a few times per hour.
This will be starting December 13th 2023 and going through March 17th 2024. Great opportunity to do homework or catch up on other activities in-between testing. No experience required!! Must be reliable and have your own transportation. Pay is $20-22 per hour.

Candidate will be responsible for electro-mechanical assembly working from blueprints and schematics. Electrical and mechanical assembly of sheet metal containers / encasements.
Job Description: Responsible for performing a variety of assembly operations to assemble quality units involving a number of parts and details.
Job Responsibilities::
* Read and comprehend manufacturing instructions, assembly standards, and work instructions
* Read BOM and Work orders
* Identify and properly use small assembly hand tools
* Ability to use small power tools like drills, greenlee punches, electric rivet tools, etc.
* Part Identification and location
* Identify non-conforming parts during assembly process
* Works with Engineering on unit improvements/corrections
* Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
**Hours are 6am-2:30pm with some OT expected once the individual is contributing with minimal supervision**

BASIC JOB FUNCTION AND SCOPE:
Perform duties within the Quality Assurance Department where the primary responsibility is ensure that parts meet the customer specifications and achieve superior quality and reliability.
WORK PERFORMED:
- Obtain samples from machines (molding and/or secondary).
- Check parts visually and dimensionally for compliance to standards given on part prints
- Accurately record information obtained from floor inspections.
- Complete necessary forms accurately and in a timely manner.
- Accurately prepare and maintain appropriate records.
- Prepare wall charts for Production.
- File part drawings.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS:
Interact with the Engineering, Plant Management, Inspect/Pack, Scheduling, Production Tool Inspection departments and with other employees in the Quality Assurance department.
EQUIPMENT:
Routine care and operation of assigned and shared precision instruments including comparators, micrometers, microfilm viewers, dial calipers, gage blocks, pin gages, solder pots, pull testers, and wall indicators. Also responsible for care and operation of telephones
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- One year of precision instrument reading or equivalent experience.
Skills Required:
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Background doing dimensional inspection using mircrometers, calipers, and other measuring eqpt.
- Attention to detail
- Legible handwriting
- Ability to accurately read precision instruments
- Good vision
- Mathematical aptitude.
- Skills may be acquired through on-the-job training.
Current openings are 1st & 2nd shift. 2nd shift pay differential is an additional $1/hr. 1st shift pay is $17.50-18.50/hr. based on experience.
CNC Operator runs computer-controlled machines that cut materials utilizing hand-held cutting tools and water pressure. Will train on waterjet process if needed.
Essential Functions
- Ability to use computer cutting program (CNC)
- Read and understand work instructions and match appropriate materials for cutting.
- Cost-conscious mind-set minimizing errors in production.
- Proper use and set-up of physical waterjet environment and waterjet equipment
- Ability to use and understand measuring equipment, I.e., calipers, tape measure, micrometers, etc.
- Responsible for dismantling and preparing waste for recycle
- Ability to read and understand blueprints/patterns.
1st shift and 3rd shift positions (9pm-6am); Train on 1st shift for approx. 2 weeks - 1 month depending on how quickly the person learns
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsible for manufacturing tools, metal, and other pieces of equipment using a press brake. Press brakes, or brake presses, are CNC machine tools designed to make punches, bends, and cuts into sheet or plate material, particularly sheet metal.
- High school diploma or GED minimum
- Previous press brake operation preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Candidates will be able to read blue prints and follow instructions in relationship to assembly and testing of complex aerospace components.
- Candidates must be proficient in using standard precision gauges and measurement equipment, and should have a basic working knowledge of PC-based computer programs. Will be working on the client's air and fuel lines.
- Electrical component soldering experience would be a plus but not necessary. Build winches. Torque gear trains. Circuit board testing
- Qualified applicants should have a minimum of 3 to 5 years" industry related experience. Related Military experience will be taken into consideration as well.
- Previous experience in an aerospace mechanical assembly environment is preferable.
- Experience in mechanical/electrical assemblies that contain soldering, testing of electrical. i.e bonding, dielectric, and continuity, proof pressure testing, hot air testing, and lock wire experience.
REQUIREMENTS
- Mechanical Assembler: Someone who has experience with assembling mechanical parts & pieces in addition to testing/verifying the mechanics of their builds
- Assembly Tech should have experience of builds that can range from a 50 piece B.O.M. to 300 piece
- Capable of reading blue prints, schematics, can follow work instructions, and routers
- Must be able to work in a team environment and attentive to detail, quality, & safety.
- Must also be able to demonstrate trouble shooting & problem solving skills. Capable of making instructional changes and able to provide detail description.
- Capable of using Microsoft word and basic computer skill set
- Repair Tech experience is a plus
- Electrical assembly would also be considered for the position
