Mother Nature really said, “Not so fast, gardeners…” 🥶🌱

If you planted flowers, veggies, or other temperature sensitive plants over the Mother’s Day weekend, make sure to tuck them in before bed Monday night.

Frost and freezing temperatures could damage unprotected plants by Tuesday morning.

The good news? 🤞 This will likely be our LAST frost threat of the spring.

‼️ ⚡️ HEADS UP - A line of strong storms will move through downtown Cleveland between 6:30PM and 7PM. The main threat with this line will be damaging wind gusts, heavy rain, and lightning. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING is in effect for Cuyahoga County until 7PM. Spread the word to anyone downtown coming home from the Cavs game or going to Guardians game or Zach Bryan Concert.

The counties highlighted below will be under a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH until 11PM on Saturday.

A line of rain showers, downpours, and storms will continue to move from west to east across the area Saturday evening.

The main threat with the strongest storms will be gusty to damaging wind gusts.

These downpours will likely impact the Zach Bryan concert in downtown Cleveland.

A line or broken line of downpours and storms will develop ahead of a cold front Saturday evening. 🌧️⛈️

While widespread severe weather is not expected, a stronger storm or two capable of producing gusty winds and small hail can’t be ruled out. ⚡️ 🌩️ ⛈️

If you’re heading to the Guardians game or the Zach Bryan concert, it’ll be a good idea to keep an eye on the radar.
