We are proud to have been re-certified under ISO 9001:2015 guidelines. The Smithers quality audit includes a close examination of our quality objectives, risk management tools, management review process, corrective and preventative actions, documentation, design process, and manufacturing process.

For this year’s Tap holiday gift, we wrapped chocolate truffles from our friends in a beautiful package made from renewable h**p fibers.

The PPC’s annual North American Paperboard Competition is also known as the Oscars of the Paperboard Industry. It might not be the glitz and glamour of Hollywood but it sure was fun to attend the festivities in Austin, TX last month and see all of amazing folding carton and rigid box projects that have been submitted. We are honored to have received the Digital Application of the Year award for our Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnamoji Box Set. This General Mills limited edition cereal box project featured five fan favorite celebrities and eye-catching embossing and holographic foil embellishments. This fun box even made it onto the big screen and was featured on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DToPFZ_ECAw.

Tap Packaging + Design is proud to announce their re-certification as a G7 Master Facility. G7 is a calibration and process control methodology certified by Idealliance and RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology).

If you have followed us the last two weeks, you must be wondering who the last athlete is in our Monday morning inspiration series. Drumrolls please…she is smart, she is strong & graceful, she is the most decorated gymnast ever, she is… Simone Biles!
The last two weeks Muhammad Ali inspired us to dream big and cultivate our own inner vision. Michael Jordan taught us that it doesn’t matter how often we fail, what matters is that we keep zeroing in on our goals and not our losses. And Simone Biles is reminding us that we should live in the moment and celebrate the little achievements that ultimately get us to reach our big goals.
We thank General Mills and the Wheaties team for entrusting us with the production of these 3 special edition boxes. We loved being part of the team that highlighted these 3 amazing athletes. They truly are the greatest champions of our time.

Monday inspiration #2. Who does not look up to the one and only MJ? If you need one more reason to be in awe of this man, read this quote:

This special edition box featuring Michael Jordan was produced in cooperation with General Mills Wheeties for their 100th anniversary. It was the second release in a set of 3 celebratory boxes. Stay tuned for the next athlete in the greatest champions of all times collectors box set.

Here is some inspiration for the start of your week. Pause for a moment, take a sip of your coffee or tea, and contemplate your own vision. How can you manifest your dreams and achieve your goals? This special edition box featuring Muhammad Ali A.K.A. “The Greatest” was produced in cooperation with General Mills Wheaties for their 100th anniversary. The box has been printed on 18pt SBS C1S and features fold hot foil stamping and embossing.
