💙June is Men's Mental Health Month.
Mental health is something we all need to care for, but too often men face pressure to handle challenges on their own or stay silent when they're struggling.
This month, we encourage fathers, grandfathers, brothers, mentors, coaches, caregivers, and all men to make their well-being a priority. Taking care of your mental health isn't a sign of weakness—it's an important part of living a healthy, connected life.
At Beech Brook, we know that when adults have the support they need, children, families, and communities are stronger.

At Beech Brook, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, supported, seen, and valued for who they are.
💙This Pride Month, we recognize the importance of creating communities where LGBTQ+ youth and families feel accepted, connected, and empowered to thrive. Mental health, belonging, and supportive relationships matter — especially for young people navigating challenges and discovering who they are.
As we continue our mission of prevention, early intervention, and family support, we remain committed to helping all children and families feel they have a place where they belong.

Memorial Day is a time to reflect, remember, and honor those who gave their lives in service to our nation.
As families gather today, we’re grateful for the moments of connection, comfort, and community that help children and families grow stronger together.
From all of us at Beech Brook, thank you to the heroes we remember today.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, Beech Brook is encouraging moments of reflection, self-awareness, and emotional wellness. Mental health is shaped by the small choices we make each day — taking time to pause, process emotions, recognize progress, and care for ourselves in healthy ways.
Journaling can be a simple but powerful tool to help reduce stress, build emotional awareness, and create space for hope and healing. Take a few moments today to reflect using one of these journal prompts as you work toward more good days. 💚

Mental health is shaped by more than what happens inside us.
The spaces we live in, the people around us, and the moments that help us feel connected all matter, too.
A safe community, supportive relationships, time outdoors, and opportunities to do things we enjoy can all help strengthen emotional well-being and resilience — for kids, families, and communities alike. 💙

May is Foster Care Awareness Month 💙
This month is an opportunity to recognize the children, families, foster parents, and professionals who work every day to provide safety, stability, and support for children experiencing difficult circumstances.
Foster care is about more than temporary placement — it’s about helping children heal, supporting families through challenges, and building stronger communities where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
At Beech Brook, we believe every child deserves connection, care, and hope for the future.

This Mother’s Day, we’re honoring the strength, resilience, and love of the moms we serve every day at Beech Brook.
Many of the mothers we work with are navigating incredible challenges—but with the right support, they are building brighter futures for their children.
You can celebrate a special mom in your life while making a difference for another.

A huge thank you to the team at American Endowment Foundation for their generous donation to Beech Brook’s Family Needs Store! 💙
Yesterday, staff members came together to collect diapers, personal care items, and other everyday essentials that help support children and families in our community. These items may seem simple, but they can make a meaningful difference for families navigating stressful or challenging times.
Special thanks to Todd Sowinski for organizing this in-kind drive and helping make this support possible. We’re grateful for community partners who continue to show up for local families in such tangible and compassionate ways.
