Considered the “poster hip hopper for the American dream” [URB Magazine], Brian "Essince" Collins was born into poverty in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and adopted by a family in the midwestern United States before finally finding his place in hip-hop. Raised in northeast Ohio, Essince began his music career at the age of 11 writing and performing music. Before transitioning to the business side of the industry, Essince has toured the US and Asia as an artist. With successful foreign tours, Critically-Acclaimed documentary work, Platinum Plaques, thirteen #1 Billboard achievements, 10+ #1 Digital Radio Tracker awards, and sold out shows across the country, Essince established his company, Royal Heir Entertainment in 2008, which specializes in global media, marketing, and distribution. Currently Essince owns a professional basketball team, the Akron Aviators and is in the league front office for the iconic American Basketball Association (ABA).

Your mind is so powerful! But it powers you for good or bad without you knowing. Your brain works like a sponge 🧽 absorbing everything around you, including other people's doubts and worries!
Once you identify the thought you can start to work on changing it.
Which of these beliefs have you struggled with?
It's easy to lose focus on what matters when life starts lifing. Years ago I started finding reminders to motivate me to keep hustling. But what about when you need motivation as a person and not a worker?

It breaks my heart when I see people give up, especially when they're so close to their goals! We can only see what we can see. I wanted to share a real story about someone I experienced in hopes this will keep you focused.
Whether it's a new job, fighting for a spot somewhere, or any situation, you might need to change how you get it, but don't stop.

I've been posting a lot recently about writing a new book. This is NOT related to anything I've ever done before (not music or sports).
I've been on an unconscious educational journey the last decade that's brought me to the place I'm at now and I wanted your thoughts on a couple ideas.
I shared my story in the carousel above so you have a better understanding of where my head's been at and also an image I want thoughts on.
I've been wanting to get back on stage and start speaking again.
I've been on the news, radio, and spoken at universities and conferences all over the world And as much as I love speaking about the music business I want to share things beyond that.
So this is my 'secret' project.

I'd found a study a couple of years ago that resonated with some current readings about "luck". Dr Richard Wiseman studied some 700 people in England who considered themselves lucky or unlucky.
The results are really interesting when you look at the things they both attracted into their lives.
I've been on a deep-dive about the subconscious mind and how it affects...well...everything in our lives and I wanted to share this.
