The Rug Weasel

You might not believe it, but August is the time to start asking artists about custom work for the holidays! So I'm showing off some past works and commissions I really enjoyed making. Shoot me a DM or reach out to the e mail in my bio cuz I'm ready to get started!

Hosted my booth at the Akron Art Expo this past weekend, my only show this year! Life has been really busy with a new job and new house 😵‍💫 but I'm glad I made time to make some rugs and meet new artists! Thanks for everyone who supported me this weekend (and all my journey before!) 🧡 This show proved to me it's too tough to go back to doing this much work on top of a job+other projects. HOWEVER! I am very much still open for commissions! My DMs are always open 🦋 Happy Summer, everyone!

🎄😍SCREW FACTORY HOLIDAY ART SHOW! 🎅🏿🎁😱
Come to in Lakewood OH this Friday, Saturday, or Sunday to find some amazing handmade holiday gifts, including rugs by your truly! This is one of my last shows for a while so don't miss it!

What do you think this post is going to be about?
COMMISSIONS that's what! 🤩🎉
I'm opening exactly 2 slots for commissioned rugs for the holiday seasons. If you reach out and put a plan together with me by this weekend, I can make sure to have your piece completed by Christmas day.
A few restrictions:
I have a lot on my plate and need to keep down my workload so these will be under 2 ft x 2 ft
The earliest these will be ready is Dec 14th so bear that in mind.
Please reach out to me with your ideas via DM or my email. This is the last time I'll be taking commissions for a few months so let me know!
AND DON'T FORGET: I ship 😉

Are you really gonna let summer get away that easily? Grab one of these beautiful handmade flowers for your home. DM me for interest

Totally forgot to post this charming piece for a commissioner from Father's Day! I love doing lettering, and what better reason for it than to celebrate everyone's favorite defunct Mexican restaurant?? I hope that proud dad is out there remember the good old days every time he sees this 🥰
Do you have a rug you'd like to commission? Send me a DM and let's talk about it!

What do you think of this: my second year at Akron Art Show! One of my favorite shows I do, the weather was great and lots of people came to look at art and take home some lovely rugs for their home 🥰 Sold a few of my favorites! Now I have an excuse to make more👍 If you missed me at the show, I still have some of the rugs in these photos left! Hit me up if you're interested 😉
A big thank you to everyone who came out to support me, especially my aunts and cousin who helped me set up and tear down. Happy summer, everyone!

"Disco Flowers" is one of my favorite medium size rugs I've made yet! Tufting and sculpting those detailed little petals was such a fun challenge and I'm really happy with the result. If you like to see this rug in your living floor or bedroom wall, hit me up!

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support me and my fellow q***r artists at this past Saturday! It was super well attended and it made me so happy to be surrounded by like-minded people. Shout-out to these ladies who all needed their own personal mug rug for their dorm room. ✌️
As usual, if you see anything you need for your own home in my photos, feel free to message me! It might still be available, or I can create something similar just for you!
Want to catch my next event? I'll be at in Hardesty Park July 27th and 28th.

Is it too late for Pride rainbows? 🥺 well I'm gay every day so I say no! Come pick up one of these little cuties at the Manic Pixie Dream Market event tomorrow at 11801 Detroit Ave in Lakewood from 11am to 5pm! I have lots of new rugs to show off (which I haven't posted because I've been on vacation🥴) so come stop by!
