Finally made it to Hawaii! Enjoying the Hubby's retirement at Hale Koa Military Resort.

Birthday week (weekend) -- Salem, Massachusetts; Portland, Maine; Gettysburg, Pennsylvania; and our hometown (Ohio). Making memories for my no-go years in the rocker of my 80s and 90s lol. Last year of my 50s! Where does the time go?!?!

But I definitely needed some downtime after a go-go week!

Hubby and I drove out to Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park yesterday to go hike and to walk on the glass bottom walkway.

Take time to breathe in God's works of art. Remember to smell the roses as you journey through life. Appreciate all you have been blessed with in this life.

So much fun hanging with my siblings this weekend. They are a blessing to me. So thankful for them.

I played Betty Freakin' Crocker this week!! lol I made sourdough bread and scored hearts in it. Now, don't make fun of my bread! It was my first bake with my new starter. I left my old starter with my neighbor in Colorado when we moved here to Ohio a year ago. I finally decided it was time to start making my sourdough bread again. I have NO GUILT with my sourdough. It's good for you; right?!?! lol

And I also made a limon and almond cake using ricotta cheese and olive oil. So yummy!! Melt-in-your-mouth good!!

I really didn't have many pages to work on this week, so I took advantage of some "me" time. And, really, how often do we court reporters get to say I'm at ZERO pages?!? Not too often!

As entrepreneurs, we just have to carve that time out sometimes!!

Another great day! This was our last stop of the day. We hit four towns in France yesterday. Beautiful and unique!

We got in early to see Omaha Beach at Normandy. Very nice visit. Grateful for the sacrifices others have made so I have the freedoms I have every day. Take a moment today to be thankful and grateful and appreciative of every comfort you have in your life. Hug your loved ones. Headed down to stand on the beach for a moment of silence.

Thanks to all my friends for being my rain these past few weeks!

I love my job as a court reporter. Yes, it has it's challenging days, but overall, I LOVE what I do. It's my main stream of income. But you all know I love dabbling in side businesses! LOL Recently I took a break from all of my side businesses just to get moved and do a lot of self-care. Moving to Ohio was a trying move for me. I think maybe because I'm older AND I just wasn't ready to leave beautiful Colorado!

I am getting more settled in our new place. But I can say I never thought I would say: Yeah, I live in Ohio. LOL

As my brother Chad says: Anyone that lives north of I-10 is a damn yankee! LOL Ugghh, I'm in yankee land, y'all!

Dinner is served!! In Fort Wayne, Indiana for work! That's a lot of food! Lol
