🐘 Elephants have an extraordinary, long term memory, often spanning decades, driven by a massive temporal lobe. They can recognize over 30 companions by sight or scent, remember water sources during droughts, and mourn dead relatives. In fact they are the only non human species to experience complex PTSD with their strong ability to remember trauma.

Impressionism is a slippery slope-one minute you’re vibing out and everything looks great and the next you’ve turned you canvas into a brown blob. Today it finally felt right and felt like me-messy and chaotic but pretty 😂 Thank you Rodney-your painting awaits your arrival.
