Basi Collective
We believe in a better way to design.
The team is back up installing phase 02 this week. Ready to see these cabins with guests this ski season!! ⛷️
Really a fan of a chrome finish. 🪩 Applied to the right form, it’s a true modernist look. Or it can also lend a playful element with the mirror-like finish. We wanted both feelings at Nollie, and I just love how these little bar stools look in the model unit! 🕺🏻
If you’ve followed Basi for a while, you know I love art and it’s a priority on our projects. It doesn’t matter the location, budget, or style of a project, it’s going to have at least one piece by a local artist. (Even if it takes hours to track it down…it’s worth it!!) Well Nollie is no different except we didn’t just stop at one piece, 100% of the art sourced was by Arizona-based artists with many local to the Phoenix/Tempe area. 🙌🏻
Swipe through to see the pieces we had specially commissioned for the project! 🌈
Nollie • Phase 02 installing today with the outdoor spaces aka “the backyard.” This space over looks the pool deck for a perfect indoor/outdoor lounge setup to find reprieve from those hot, hot AZ days. ☀️🌵
For all the rebels out there. We love you. 🤜🏼🤛🏼
How about some more post-install shots of ? Every corner of the social lounge has something fun to see and do! And if you look closely at the details, you’ll find hints of the Nollie brand in everything. From the up-cycled skateboard wheel planters to quirky puzzles to a paper towel dispenser that smiles back at you. 😁

✨More model shots ✨One detail we really love in the model is the collage in the bedroom! Nollie is all about going against the grain, and we wanted to do something really playful and creative that was unique. We could totally see a resident putting up their own collage wall!

✨A peak model✨We had a lot of fun with this furniture package, maximizing color and quirky details! 🛹
Great job to the team on-site this week!!Thankful for all your hard work. 🙏🏼🙏🏼
In progress and coming soon- 34 new cabins !
Rainy day here in the Land and no meetings today, so that means some good production time! Have a couple of proposals to send, lots of furniture coordination, emails, and drawing updates.
Pictured: my OG clients’ home near downtown Indianapolis. We are about to kick-off another new build this summer!!
Install 02 this week was a 2-bed model unit and leasing office at Camden Woods in Strongsville. These townhomes are so beautiful and built by a custom home builder, so you know they have some nice upgrades! And another nice location with tons of amenities close by- I can personally attest that Target is a very quick drive. 🎯😉 (And Barrio is ONE minute down the road!!)
Modern serenity really comes through in these units, and we continued that feeling with the furniture and decor package. Looking forward to installing the clubhouse and pool deck next month!

Completed two local installs this week! The first was a 2-bed unit at The Shoreway, which has THE most incredible location, walking distance to the beach. I saw so many people taking picnics, riding their bikes, and strolling around the neighborhood! It was the best kind of energy.
This install was also extra special because it was furnished for a family who recently lost their home. Within 3 weeks, we were able to put together a furniture and decor package, including the basic necessities and get it all installed! Thank you to our client and partners who helped make this one happen. I feel very fortunate that Basi was able to be a small part in helping this family find home again.❤️
Hey there! 👋🏼 Still here, just go in waves of social media inspiration. But behind the scenes, there has been lots of exciting work happening to start off the year! Let me tell ya some of what’s been cooking lately.
Lotsss of furniture packages in the works that will make for a fun and busy spring/summer of installs throughout OH, IN, MI, and AZ. Cannot wait to show you guys the art packages too!🖼️
Kicking off DD for a new multifamily project in Kansas that has an architectural style reference that you don’t see much of here in the Midwest…🤫
And then several projects under construction or about to kick off construction. Costs and schedules are still pretty brutal. Solidarity to those currently going through a build. ✊🏼
And if you’re still reading (🤗), Ive got a new coworker with me nowadays…Basi Baby 2 arrives in August! 🤰🏻
That’s the work/ life update for now. 😉
(Btw, I really like emojis and never giving them up. 😛)
Floor plans: they are the most important tool in planning an interior! They allow you to understand what is and what can be. Drawing it out helps prevent mistakes during building, because you already have an idea of what will work for you and your home. And often, it’s not the first idea you thought of!
For , when the homeowners and I first met, they had talked about reconfiguring their existing kitchen space and raising the breakfast nook floor to keep it all on one level. (First plan shows the existing layout.)
With that option, we’d have to modify the doors and windows where we raised the floor, and we’d have a low ceiling to contend with. And then it also didn’t really help with storage, prep, or hosting. I drew it out, so they could see how that looked. (Not shown.)
Then I did a plan option (second plan) that allowed for the flow and kitchen space they needed and wanted. It kept the step-down room, reducing the cost and work of modifying the structure, while also giving them a little library for morning coffee while watching the birds. This plan kept things open for everyone to be together, while also giving ample storage and prep space.
It wasn’t what they had originally envisioned, but seeing both plan options allowed the homeowners to see the possibilities!
