When I look back at where Milestone Home Design started and where it stands now, the numbers genuinely surprise me.

Hundreds of spaces reimagined. Many five star reviews from clients who trusted us with rooms that hold their everyday lives. Recognition from Houzz, not once, but four times over. And right now, more than a dozen projects moving forward at once, each one its own puzzle, its own personality, its own version of a happy ending.

None of that happens in a vacuum. It happens because clients took a chance on a small studio, told their friends, left honest reviews, and trusted the process even when a space was mid-renovation and looked nothing like the vision yet. That trust is the real milestone.

Here’s to the design problems still waiting to be solved, the kitchens not yet built, and the clients we haven’t met yet. Two years down, and we’re just getting started!

What started as a dim, underused space will now be the heartbeat of this home. Using 3D visualization, we're exploring multiple layout options before construction even begins, making it easier to land on a design that feels both functional and visually right.

Lately, life has felt full in the best way.

As we head into the Fourth of July weekend, I’m reminded how much this season revolves around home. Backyard barbecues, kids running through the yard, neighbors stopping by, and those long summer evenings that somehow stretch on forever.

Summer is in full swing, and while our schedule is still busy, the pace has shifted. More time outside, and a little more room for spontaneity.

I’ve been thinking about how our homes can support that rhythm. The spaces that feel best right now are simple and functional. Comfortable outdoor gathering areas, durable materials that can handle real life, and thoughtful design choices that make everyday moments feel a little easier.

On the personal side, it’s been a season full of baseball games, school events, and meaningful milestones. We’re still riding the high of a first home run (yes, I kept the ball) and all the end-of-year celebrations that kicked off the start of summer.
