Life is not going to be perfect all the time. Many times, we expect for everything in our lives to be so great and how it is more ideal not to have to go through any struggles. That’s not reality. When situations arise that are displeasing to us, often, we as humans allow our carnal minds to get in the way of seeing the almighty God for who he is and how great that he has been to us, even during previous struggles. He kept us. We can’t forget that.

Despite some of the things that we may go through, we can’t always panic and be angry with God when something that we don’t like happens.

When this happens, that’s when the devil, the serpent that he is, slithers through our minds and we begin to have negative thoughts and question God and sometimes our very own existence.

To me, being in commune with God regularly, is a spiritual defense mechanism that is strength based. Being consistent with prayer and supplication, will ultimately empower us to elevate our minds and rise above the trying situations that we may experience. The recompense that we will receive, is unwavering faith and the Victory that we hope for!
