Louie & Poké are back!
These two handsome boys are both previous Custom Canines training graduates, and they’re back with us for boarding while their families are away.
One of the best parts of working with dogs beyond their original training program is getting to maintain that relationship, keep up their structure, and watch them settle right back into the routine. Louie and Poké may not be from the same family, but they’re both part of the Custom Canines crew and they’re clearly enjoying their stay.
Happy dogs, familiar routines, and a little boarding fun in the sun.

Welcome sweet Sadie to Custom Canines!
Sadie is a 1 year old Golden Retriever who recently joined her new family, and they want to give her the best start possible. She’s here for a 3 week board and train where we’ll be focusing on building clear communication, better manners, impulse control, leash skills, recall, obedience, and helping her get a little more fit along the way.
She’s young, happy, and full of potential, now we’re going to help her learn how to channel all that Golden energy into calm, thoughtful choices. Excited to watch this pretty girl grow over the next few weeks!

Hot day, cool creek, happy dogs ☀️💦
Cooper and Daisy got to beat the heat with a little creek adventure during their boarding stay. Fresh air, shady water time, and lots of happy exploring, basically the perfect summer dog day.
Boarding here isn’t just “hang out until pickup.” We love giving dogs safe, structured outings that let them decompress, sniff, move their bodies, and enjoy being dogs.
Cooper and Daisy understood the assignment. 🐾💛

Welcome Buster! 🐾
This handsome cattle dog/border collie mix is here for board and train, and we’re already getting to know the smart, sensitive, opinionated boy underneath all that stranger-danger energy.
Buster is learning that he doesn’t have to make all the decisions on his own, and that clear direction can actually help him feel safer and more confident. We’ll be working on structure, confidence building, impulse control, leash handling, recall, and helping him make better choices when the world feels a little suspicious.
He’s a thoughtful guy with a big brain, and I’m excited to help him find more clarity, calm, and connection during his stay.
Welcome to training camp, Buster! 🤎🐶

🐾Group photo op! Leo the lab crushed the first part of his board and train package and is back for more. Part of our training includes learning social responsibility and being a respectful part of a pack. This helps dog learn social manners, engage around distractions, and allows them to build confidence being a dog around other socially responsible dogs as we do pack walks and explorations. Welcome back to Dottie and Koda (Jack Russel terriers), Cooper (golden retriever) and hello to our resident dog Dallas!

🐾Welcome back Lake!
Lake is a board and train graduate who is back visiting for boarding camp while her family is out of town. They have been having fun and doing a great job keeping up her training at home and she is loving the new freedom and games. Here are a couple of pictures her family sent from home.

Welcome Leo 🐾
This handsome, sweet-natured adolescent Labrador is here for a board and train, and we’re getting him set up for success from the inside out.
We’re working through a mix of real-life skills and foundational training, including:
• Household and greeting manners
• Loose leash walking
• Basic obedience
• Off-leash recall
• Confidence building
• Appropriate outlets for his energy
We’re also focusing on getting his gut and routine back on track, because a dog can’t learn well if they don’t feel good.
The first few days are all about decompression, structure, building trust and consistency to give him a clear picture of what’s expected so he can settle in and start learning.
Excited to see him settle and grow over the next few weeks.
