I did some ice dyeing last week. Had 3 new babies in the family in the last two months that needed some onesies for summer. Made a few extra too. Look for some to show up in the Second Saturdays at the Guild Market in July at the Weavers Guild Cincinnati

Finally finished grafting the toes of a couple pairs of socks I knit on my machine a month ago. The tall socks are knit from balls of Regia Galaxy from way back. You can see how the rings of the galaxy form if you get the right tension while knitting, I was even smart enough to wind one ball backwards so that the rings go different directions. The other is a pair from a cone of yarn I bought from .knit. My daughter helped me straighten and sort my studio over the weekend for Mother’s Day gift so hopefully I’ll be back and cranking now that everything set up and organized.

Starting a rep weave project on my Cricket Rigid Heddle Loom. The RH Study Group at the is exploring rep weave this year. I adapted a project from Handwoven Magazine to use 1 heddle instead of 2 and to substitute 8/2 cotton for 8/4 cotton. Will be weaving while camping the next few weeks. Good that the heddle looms are so portable.
