How do you know if they’re really a narcissist?

Because being selfish sometimes doesn’t automatically make someone a narcissist.

Neither does wanting attention.

Neither does wanting things their way.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder is much more than that.

And not every difficult ex deserves the label.

The more accurately you understand people, the better decisions you’ll make moving forward.

People often confuse strength with control.

Real strength doesn’t need to dominate.

It doesn’t matter whether we’re talking about a man, a woman, a boss, a parent, a coach, a politician, an influencer, or a romantic partner.

The healthiest leaders don’t create fear. They create safety.

They don’t demand respect. They earn it.

They don’t control people. They influence people.

They don’t blame others. They take responsibility.

They don’t need power over people because they have power over themselves.

A lot of toxic behavior gets excused because it’s packaged as confidence, leadership, masculinity, femininity, authority, or success.

But real strength and toxic power are not the same thing.

One inspires growth.

The other demands obedience.

Learning the difference can change every relationship in your life.

Most people think jealousy is a sign that someone else has something they can’t have.

I see it differently.

Jealousy is often information.

If you’re constantly noticing someone else’s relationship, freedom, confidence, success, body, lifestyle, or happiness, it may be because a part of you recognizes that possibility for yourself.

The problem isn’t the jealousy.

The problem is what you do with it.

Most people use jealousy as proof that life is unfair.

Others use it as a clue.

A clue about what they truly want.

A clue about where they’re settling.

Instead of asking:

“Why do they get that?”

Try asking:

“What is this showing me about what I want to create?”

Your triggers often reveal your desires.

Pay attention.

The things that stir something in you are rarely random.

What do you find yourself feeling jealous of most often?

Want to attract a better life?

Start celebrating it when you see it in others.

The relationship.
The body.
The success.
The money.
The lifestyle.

Instead of thinking, “Must be nice.”

Try saying:

“That’s for me.”

Because what you admire, you move toward.

The next time you catch yourself saying, “I’m not good at this,” add one word:

YET!

Because the moment you decide you’ll never be good at something, you’ve stopped giving yourself the chance to learn.

You’re not failing.

You’re learning.

What are you still learning?

Maybe you don’t need more confidence.

Maybe you’ve just become really confident in the wrong story.

The story that you’ll fail.

The story that you’ll be judged.

The story that you’ll mess it up.

The story that says you can’t handle rejection.

After years of coaching people, I’ve learned that most people aren’t waiting on confidence.

They’re waiting on certainty.

And certainty rarely comes first.

Action does.

What limiting belief have you become so confident in that it’s keeping you stuck?

Funny how the things I used to think were boring turned out to be the things that make life good.

One of the biggest relationship mistakes I see is people saying they want a committed, aligned relationship while still holding onto connections they already know aren’t right for them.

Not because they’re in love.

Because it’s comfortable.

Because it’s familiar.

Because loneliness feels uncomfortable.

The challenge is that every relationship occupies space mentally, emotionally, and energetically.

If you’re still attached to a placeholder, you may not be fully available for the relationship you’re hoping to create.

A question worth considering:

“What am I still holding onto that’s taking up their space?”

Today was one of those days.

Everything that could go wrong, did.

Years ago, I would’ve looked for a way to escape the feeling.

Today, I headed to the gym instead.

Not because I felt motivated.

Not because I was having a great day.

Because I’ve learned that manifestation doesn’t stop when life gets messy.

We’re always creating.

We’re either doing it by default or we’re doing it deliberately.

And sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is choose a response that supports the reality you’re trying to create.

Bad days happen.

What you do next matters.

I wish somebody had told me this when I quit drinking alcohol…

You don’t just quit alcohol.

You quit the dopamine that came with it.

The anticipation.
The excitement.
The ritual.
The reward.

That’s why so many people quit one addiction and accidentally replace it with another unhealthy one.

Your brain is still looking for that same feeling.

For me, the replacement became the gym.

I traded happy hour for workouts and became a total gym rat.

The lesson?

Don’t just quit the addiction.

Upgrade it.
