Vacation season is here.
Before heading out of town, most people think about luggage, travel plans, and house checklists.
But your floors deserve a quick check too.

Before leaving:
-Vacuum carpeted areas
-Clean up spills
-Sweep high-traffic surfaces
-Remove damp mats
-Make sure tile and grout aren't holding moisture

Coming home to a cleaner house always feels better.

Please! Reach out to us if you are a respected FLOORING COMPANY who is looking for a partnership!

Flooring companies and floor care companies should work toward the same goal: Helping the floor last.

A flooring company helps a customer choose and install the right surface.

A floor care company helps protect that surface after real life starts happening.

When customers understand both the installation side and the maintenance side, they are more likely to protect the investment they already made.

Wow! Three 5-star Google reviews in one day! That's pretty great if you ask me.

Let's put a spotlight on these amazing reviews:
-David T. "Perfect company to have any work done. Great to work with. Reliable great work."
-Mike W. "Good carpet cleaning service at reasonable prices!"
-Deborah L. "CM cleaned tile floor with dirty grout, sealed them and cleaned polyurethane wood floors. They were prompt, did the work thoroughly and in a reasonable amount of time. The two men were extremely nice."

Thank you to everyone who supports us day in and day out!

Planning to roll up an area rug for the summer?
Make sure it is ready before it goes into storage.
A rug should not be stored dirty or damp. Soil, crumbs, pet debris, moisture, and residue can create bigger problems while the rug is sitting unused.

Before storing a rug:
- Clean it first
- Make sure it is completely dry
- Roll it instead of folding it if you have room
- Store it in a climate-controlled space if possible
- Do not stack heavy items on top of it
- Keep it protected from moisture and pests

A rug may be out of sight during the summer, but it should not be forgotten.

Did you know Cincinnati Maintenance offers free consultations and estimates?
That matters because every floor is different.

A carpet stain, dull VCT floor, dark grout line, sticky rubber floor, worn entryway, or rug that needs cleaning before storage may all need a different approach.

A good consultation helps answer questions like:
- What type of surface are we dealing with?
- Is this a cleaning issue, maintenance issue, or long-term wear issue?
- What process makes the most sense?
- What expectations are realistic?
- Is there anything that should be handled before the service?
- How can the floor be maintained afterward?

For June, we are putting extra focus on VCT maintenance and tile and grout cleaning and sealing, especially for schools, businesses, and facilities planning summer maintenance.

A free estimate is a simple way to start with the right information.

Rubber floors are built for use.
That is why they are common in gyms, schools, fitness areas, locker rooms, daycare spaces, physical therapy areas, and commercial facilities.
But even durable floors need the right maintenance.
Over time, rubber floors can collect:
- Dust and dirt
- Sweat residue
- Body oils
- Shoe soil
- Spills
- Cleaning product buildup
- Grime from equipment and daily traffic
When that buildup sits on the surface, the floor can start to look dull, feel sticky, or become harder to clean with routine mopping.
Professional cleaning helps reset the surface and keep the floor looking and feeling better.

Graduation parties, cookouts, summer visits, and open houses can make a home feel full in the best way.

But after the guests leave, the floors usually need a closer look.

More people coming in and out means more shoes, more crumbs, more spills, more furniture movement, and more traffic through the same areas. Even if the home looks clean on the surface, soil and residue can settle into carpet fibers, grout lines, rugs, and entryways.

A good post-party floor check should include:
- Entryways where dirt gets tracked in
- Carpet traffic lanes
- Sticky spots from food or drinks
- Tile and grout in kitchens or bathrooms
- Area rugs that saw extra use
- Hardwood near doors and gathering spaces
- Upholstery if people were sitting, eating, or moving around more than usual

Summer hosting is fun. The floor cleanup afterward just needs a plan.

A floor care company helps protect that surface after it is being used every day.

Reviews help people understand what kind of experience they can expect.

Not just the final result.

They help answer questions like:
-Did the company communicate clearly?
-Did they show up professionally?
-Did they explain the process?
-Did they treat the home or business with respect?
-Did the work match what was promised?

Please share your feedback with us through a review. It truly means so much to us!

Mopping helps.
But mopping does not solve everything.
For hard-surface floors, mopping is good for everyday surface soil, spills, and routine upkeep. The problem is that some buildup does not come up that easily.
If the floor still looks dull, sticky, dark in the lines, or uneven after regular mopping, it may need a deeper cleaning approach.
