Do you love playing Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza? I had the privilege of meeting with Eric Shroeder, the Chief Operating Officer at , and what a great guy! We were able to talk shop and swap games. They just came out with there new push-your-luck meets strategy card game called Stack Nabbit. I just played it today and it's a blast! It stays true to their mission of easy to learn games but with a surprisingly strategic twist. I couldn't let Eric go home empty handed either, so I shared a prototype of our adorably cut-throat speed card game, Escape Critters, which launches on Kickstarter this October. We'll see what he thinks. 🫣🫠

What is the game behind the game?? We are about to launch our Kickstarter for Escape Critters, but what came before that? Escape Master was the first game we ever created and was the stepping stone for developing something even better. We took the best things from Escape Master and refined them to make Escape Critters. While I was reflecting on our humble beginnings with Escape Master, I ran across this old article about the history of speed card games and why our games are different.
