Happy Christmas Eve!

Charcuterie dinner, stockings, candlelight service at church, and now I'm wrapping gifts drinking tea, and eating Christmas cookies.

She chose Poland for her senior trip with Mom. And who would have known it would be one of the most beautiful countries we'd ever visited.

had senior portraits done in Kraków with the amazing .kolowca and we love how they turned out.

All I've ever wanted. Everything else is icing.

I love these people. I'm proud of them. I'm proud of us--of what we've built.

The last two years have tried to see us shattered, but we're still here, clinging to one another, God wrapping his arms around us.

newest book is out! Have you read it? Who's got it on their TBR?

I haven't gotten my hands on it yet but I do love a marriage of convenience (it's one of my favorite tropes.) What about you?

Are you a speed through the museum kind of person or one who reads every placard?

I'm the latter. My husband is the former (he loves museums and art; he doesn't have the patience to read every detail about every work.)

We have a few great museums in Cincinnati, but my favorite is the lesser known

The building is beautiful and there are some terrific permanent exhibits, including a Rembrandt and a few by Gainsborough. Lots of Chinese vases and a whole display of pocket watches.

The current temporary exhibit is Indigo and Quiltmaking. I LOVE both those things. I've made two small doll quilts for my girls, and I think this inspired me bc I'm thinking of making a large one for my bed.
