Bell's campaign is certainly taking a disappointing turn.

This is how FHSB candidate Mark Bell responded to a comment on his school board candidate page today. This is not professional or the way to treat public questions.

Claim 1. Mark asserts that community outreach and transparency aren't needed in our community when in fact they are greatly needed. Outside of attending the FHC Meet the Candidate Night, Mark's campaign hasn't spent the time and energy to reach across the aisle or communicate to those outside of his core supporters in any way that requires time and effort.

Claim 2: We lost a lot of good teachers and staff who, like Alana Cropper were unjustly fired or effectively forced out. Not acknowledging this seems insincere, especially when he joined Jason and Wendy to rehire Alana.

Claim 3: If that is the case why did he vote to join over 200 school districts to fight for fair funding for FHSD at the state level? Claim 4: We agree that Katie Stewart was a toxic board member and once Mark joined Wendy and Jason as a third non-Maga board member Bob and Sara have lost voting power and steam.

Well deserved ratings for many of our elementary schools. Great job to all of the teachers and administrators that work hard to make our schools a fantastic place for our kids.

I do not consider Charlie Kirk the type of leadership our school district needs to model.

Doug Harding (husband of Jodi Harding who is running for FHSD School Board) made the following comments in the Advocate FHSD Community Group today along with several other problematic statements. Doug isn't on the ballot but our district is still living in the shadows of the "Resolution of Kindness" lawsuit, the destruction of the diversity mural at Nagel and losing Diversity Day. If you can't convince your husband there is work to do how can you set the district on the right course?
