🇧🇧🔥 The name Ramone Bad ♠️ is starting to ring louder across Canada’s Caribbean music scene, as the Bajan-born artist continues to build momentum with his distinctive blend of Dancehall, Caribbean and urban sounds.

Ramone Bad is no stranger to the international stage. His journey has taken him from Barbados to Canada and beyond, with previous performances alongside major names including Meek Mill, Sean Paul, Lady Saw, Bow Wow and Royce Da 5’9”. Barbados Today previously reported on his international performances and his push to take Bajan music to audiences around the world. (Barbados Today)

Now, the Toronto-based artist appears to be entering another chapter.

With recent releases including “Believe Me,” “Dat Is It,” “Gan Up” and “Selfie Whine,” Ramone Bad is leaning heavily into Dancehall and Caribbean music while maintaining the independent hustle that has defined his career. His 2025 release “Gan Up” with SK IN DE CUT is classified as Modern Dancehall on Apple Music, while “Selfie Whine” is among his 2026 releases. (Apple Music - Web Player)

And this isn’t simply another artist trying to break into Canada.

Ramone Bad is bringing Barbados with him. 🇧🇧

His career has already received recognition in Barbados, including being listed among the nominees for Hip Hop Artist of the Year and Hip Hop Song of the Year at the Gine On People’s Choice Awards. (Gine On?! - Bajan Arts and Culture)

The bigger picture? Ramone Bad represents a growing wave of Caribbean artists proving that you don’t have to be based in Jamaica, Trinidad or the United States to make noise in the international Dancehall conversation.

A Bajan artist. A Canadian-based movement. A Caribbean sound with global ambitions.

From Barbados to Toronto, Ramone Bad is making it clear that the 246 has something to say — and Canada is listening.

The question now isn’t whether Ramone Bad can make noise in Canada.

It’s how far this Bajan Dancehall wave can go. 🌎🔥🇧🇧🇨🇦

I didn’t expect to see something like this with my own two eyes 🤯🤯🤯🤯 😋🛩️
