Beyond Crayons

Reminder.. the studio is closed this weekend for the holiday so everyone can enjoy their family activities. We will see you all next week!!.

Beyond Crayons is open again beginning today. I am excited to be back with my art friends and can't wait to see everyone!!! All classes are back as regularly scheduled.

Thank you to all my students for their patients. I will be opening the studio back up on Monday , May 11th. I tried to message everyone but I have a new phone and may have missed some numbers.

I am going to be opening to studio at noon today to beat the storm. I will stay open until the storm starts getting bad on the roads. Anyone that wants to bump up their child's art lesson to an earlier time should message me or text me.

Any art students that missed art on Sunday or tonight are welcome to contact me if they wish to do a make up class on Wednesday or Thursday night.

Beyond Crayons will be closed tomorrow January 25th due to the pending storm.

I am canceling classes for this evening. We are supposed to be getting an icy mix later today and I don't want the kids on the roads. Anyone that wants to do a makeup day can contact me. I have openings tomorrow evening or will be doing a makeup day and opening the studio on Thursday.

I am keeping an eye on Tuesday's storm. I will message everyone if I have to cancel classes. Anyone who wishes to move their child's lesson fron Tuesday to Wednesday or Thursday should contact me.

Huge thank you to Sawyer, Wesley, Skylar and of course Macie for stopping by the studio tonight and helping me set up Rocky's new habitat. He loves it!! He has been exploring it all evening. Thanks also to Sawyer and Wesley's dad for doing all the heavy lifting for me. I totally appreciate it.

Tomorrow (Thursday, October 30) evening at 5:30pm we are setting up our eco fish tank and Rocky's Gecko habitat in our Science classroom. Any of my current students wish to come by and help out are welcome to attend. There is no fee for this event, we are just looking for volunteers to help set up the tanks. Just message me if your child wishes to help out so that I can get a final headcount on attendees.

I apologize to everyone on having a slight pause in our new 3rd Rock Science Classroom just as we were getting started. Unfortunately I was in a recent car accident and it has hindered many of my activities. I am going to attempt to continue art classes as much as I can and hope to be setting up the 3rd Rock workshops again very soon. In the meantime there are still things happening behind the scenes. Our student assistant Macie has volunteered to foster our new 3rd Rock leopard gecko until we can do the Habitat Workshop. She picked him up for me yesterday at PetSmart and will foster him through his quarantine period. You're the best Macie! EVERYBODY MEET ROCKY, our 3rd Rock mascot!! I want to thank everyone that has volunteered to help out over the last month. It is deeply appreciated.
