I just got the privilege to restore this 1975 FX. Customer bought it off the showroom floor back in 1975 for $3,470.60. He is the same owner and it hasn’t ran in 20 years. I stripped it down had the frame powder coated, aluminum and sheet metal polished. While that was all being outsourced, I took apart and put back together every nut and bolt on this entire bike. Replaced all the chrome, upgraded the camshaft and made a custom exhaust, back to original. She’s back to brand new as she was 50 years ago and running like a champ.
