Butte County ILP
What happens to foster youth when they leave the system? Many have trouble completing their education, finding a job or a place to live.
Most face many challenges. Butte County ILP offers emancipation preparation, training and support to current and former foster youth between 16 and 21. Case workers provide one-on-one training and support to help youth develop the skills needed for self-sufficiency after aging-out of the foster care system.
