That's a wrap on 2026 National Recovery Month! đź’ś

This was our 12th National Recovery Month as a community, and we couldn't be more proud of how our teams showed up. All September, they were out at rallies, walks, fests, and resource fairs: 11+ events across 7+ states, from Bangor to Fort Worth and everywhere in between. They set up tables, handed out resources, and had real conversations with the people in their communities.

Swipe through to see just some of the places where we showed up.

Thank you to every team member who gave their time and energy this month, to every organizer who made space for us, and to everyone who stopped by to say hi. Recovery happens together, all year long.

Team Maine is showing up for !

This month, our Maine team has celebrated recovery in communities across the state, most recently joining their neighbors at both the Bridgton Recovery Celebration and the Portland Recovery Rally. They've been busy cheering on recovery, sharing what Groups is all about, and connecting with the communities they've been part of for years.

As one of the first places Groups put down roots, Team Maine has deep connections in the communities they serve, and it shows every time they walk into a room. Thank you for representing the hope found in recovery with so much heart.

As we wrap up our Recovery Month Reflections, we want our members to hear that you’re not your worst day. You’re not alone. And the life you want is waiting for you—keep going!

Thank you for letting us walk this path with you, this month and every month đź’ś

Our Partnership team was proud to attend the Probation Officers Professional Association of Indiana (POPAI) Conference in French Lick, Indiana. Meeting with probation officers from across the state gave us the chance to strengthen the partnerships that help people access treatment sooner. We're committed to building these connections — because when we work together, our members are the ones who benefit.

Today in Recovery Month Reflections:

"Recovery is a second chance to create goals, dreams, aspirations, things that someone never thought possible."

Next up in Recovery Month Reflections, our team shares what we most want our members to hear.

"Keep putting one foot in front of the other, and you will get to the place you want to be eventually. It starts with just making each day a little better."

September is National Recovery Month, a time to raise awareness for evidence-based treatment, celebrate people living in recovery, and share that recovery is possible for everyone.

To kick things off, we're sharing our own Recovery Month Reflectionsđź’ś

First up: what recovery means to us. Meeting the person you always knew you could be. Mornings with your dogs. Making your family proud. A purpose, not a job.

Today, we honor and remember the lives lost and forever changed on September 11. Anniversaries like this are a reminder that trauma leaves marks not only on communities but also on the hearts and minds of those who lived through it.

If today feels heavier than expected, or if grief and fear are showing up in ways you didn't anticipate, you're not alone. Reaching out for support is a sign of strength. Talking to someone you trust, leaning on your care team, or simply giving yourself space to reflect can help.

Taking care of our mental health matters, especially as we honor and remember. đź’™

Our Partnership Development Team was honored to participate in the KCCD Corrections Conference in Kentucky last week.

We had some incredible conversations with partners across the field, and got to present on our Safe Start Pathway — our program designed to support justice-involved individuals as they begin their recovery journey — sharing outcomes we're really proud of.

We believe recovery is possible for everyone, and we're proud to keep investing in justice-involved populations and the people working every day to make that belief a reality.
