Thank you to Daniel Goldberg and Andrea Marinho from the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office for joining our All Staff Meeting on Friday to lead a training on hate crimes and community safety.
We’re continuing the conversation later this month with an LGBTQ+ Community Safety Roundtable, open to the public. Join us October 20 from 9:30–11 AM at Center on Halsted to learn, share resources, and connect around community safety.

Last month, 400 job seekers and 40 employers came together at Center on Halsted for WERQ! The event continues to grow each year and has become one of our largest and most anticipated events of the year.
The impact was immediate, with some candidates hired within just 24 hours.

That's a wrap on AIDS Run & Walk Chicago 2026. 🏃
The Halsted Hustlers finished in 3rd place out of nearly 80 teams.
The teams fundraising comes back to Center on Halsted, funding HIV testing, PrEP navigation, and the kind of care that keeps our neighbors well for a lifetime. Thank you to our board, staff, volunteers, ERG partners, and every donor who backed a Hustler.
