Saw this movement on the gram and had to try it the next day. I love doing combo movements that help you contract full body muscles. Isolation work is great .. especially for body builders, but I consider myself an athlete first always..so combo movements are a big staple in my training as well. I will post more awesome combo movements to show everyone that you can turn an hour session into a quick 20-30 min session by combing multiple movements into one! In my opinion, one of the best single leg workouts you can be doing. It is a staple in my leg workouts. Not only is it an amazing way to build your single leg strength, it’s a very functional movement for everyday life, and it helps tremendously with athleticism! There’s also so many variations you can do that challenge you in different ways. Here I’m using an offset kettlebell grip. This forces more core engagement since I’m only loading one side of my body! I won’t write too much here, but in case you’re curious on the “why’s” of this workout.. feel free to leave a comment/question below 👇🏼👇🏼

Congrats to our group for all of the amazing accomplishments! It’s great to be surrounded by so much good energy. I love being a part of this group, and being able to contribute to our success! STIR THE POT!!!
Great advanced core movement that is one of my personal favorites! If you struggle with this movement, try starting with small circles, and then progressing to larger ones. Always make sure to keep your full body engaged.. let your muscles help each other...that’s what they’re there for. Also avoid letting your hips collapse.. let your core protect your lower back (lumbar spine) like it’s supposed to!

Mom words can’t describe the amount of gratitude I have for you. You always have believed in me when nobody else did. You gave me guidance, love, and taught me life lessons that I’ll be grateful for for the rest of my life. My mom was driving me back to NIU where I went to college. We stopped to get gas, where she sighed and said to “we didn’t win Mikus” talking about the lottery ticket she had bought. She then followed up and said “I won the lottery a long time ago, when I had my 3 kids.”

I came to OT after my internship in the summer of 2018. Not even knowing what to expect.. I just needed to find a job after college, and wasn’t sure how good of a fit OT would be for me. It’s safe to say I ended up making a great decision to come join the team. I’ve been able to help hundreds of our members achieve their goals, and make a positive impact on their lives.
