It’s the final day of summer! The Cent(HER)ed team had an incredible summer filled with exciting experiences. We visited the Obama presidential center, had our 3rd annual Activate (HER) Field Day, explored new ways to stay active in our communities, embraced the longer days, celebrated our summer birthdays, and secured funding from the Springboard Foundation and Girls Opportunity Alliance. We are incredibly grateful for the wonderful memories we made during Summer 2026 and are filled with sadness as we bid farewell to this incredible season!

About last night! We attended at the Springboard Foundation Fund annual dinner as members of the class of 2026! It feels more amazing to have obtained this award this year because we didn’t receive it last year. We were encouraged to apply again and this year, we made it happen! So grateful to have this funding to support our afterschool programs and be a part of this amazing community of nonprofit organizations! Cheers to the class of 2026!
