This project features the client’s existing countertop material, carefully reused to complement the rustic character of their log home. We incorporated 3/4” Absolute Black stone for the full-height backsplash, along with a custom thinner-profile shelf/ledge per the client’s request. With the project located approximately five hours away, precise measurements, detailed planning, and careful coordination were especially important. Due to the unique conditions of the log home, some on-site cutting and adjustments were necessary to achieve the proper fit and finish. The completed stonework brings a clean, updated contrast while maintaining the natural character of the home.

We specialize in custom fabrication of Cristallo Quartzite with an Ogee edge. This unique, translucent material requires careful handling. Due to Quartzite's exceptional hardness, cutting and fabrication demand precision and time, necessitating a thoughtful approach to project ex*****on.

Single-family home project! Here’s a look at part of the countertop work we completed for this beautiful home.

We always take the time to talk with our clients to understand their style and preferences, then provide options that best fit their vision. The full-height backsplash behind the stove is fabricated at 3/4” thick, while the countertops are 1-1/4” thick. We were able to mill the backsplash thinner to reduce the overall weight without compromising its appearance.

For the master closet island and master coffee bar countertop and backsplash, the client selected a stunning Calacatta marble. Since natural stone is unique, we carefully planned the slab layout to use the cleanest and most beautiful section for the island and main countertop, where they would be seen the most. Areas with natural blemishes were placed in less noticeable locations, and we reviewed the layout with the client before fabrication to ensure they were happy with the final plan.

Every project is about combining craftsmanship, thoughtful planning, and clear communication to create the best possible result.

Happy 4th of July weekend. We will be closed tomorrow July 4th and open back on Monday.

Island was move to the side for extra space. We coordinate with contractor and explain to our client the possible concern. Both side of the peninsula need to be set the right height. We use all the remaining material for the backsplash.

Call us your need and we can help.
