As a boater I see these Balloons in Lake Michigan frequently!
Its terrible for the fish and our environment.

Radiance coming in from a brisk spring sailing charter! Beautiful spring sailing...
Caught Radiance returning from a charter and invited them to a double header
YAY, RADIANCE is wet again. On top of that, her new engine is running great and moving her along well. Especially after I fixed the reversed engine controls as reverse was forward from my initial install. She’s happy now. Ready for our Spring river trip of 24 bridges than open water on Lake Michigan to her berth in Montrose Harbor!

What fun to see this nearly 19 year old telling of my first skippering of this classic race. I haven’t missed one since though I bought I larger/newer ‘Radiance’ for the next year. I’m honored to still be sailing with many of the same crew!
