Menopause is a natural life stage that affects many employees - typically women and people assigned female at birth between the ages of 45 and 55.

Despite its prevalence, it remains a taboo topic in many workplaces.

Strength training is very important in Perimenopause.

Perimenopause isn’t just hot flashes—it can also mean muscle loss.

As estrogen declines, your body starts to lose muscle mass faster than before.
That can lead to:
⚠️ Slower metabolism
⚠️ Less strength & endurance
⚠️ More fat (especially belly fat)
⚠️ Higher risk of falls & frailty

But there’s good news: You can fight back.

✅ Lift Weights – Resistance training 2–3x/week is key
✅ Eat Protein – Fuel your muscles every meal
✅ Recover Well – Prioritize sleep & rest
✅ Talk to Your Doc – HRT or other options may help

You’re not “just getting older.”
You’re transitioning—and your body needs new support.

💪 Start where you are. Stay consistent. Feel stronger.

If hot flashes weren’t enough, summer turns up the heat—literally. Here’s how to stay cool, calm, and collected when your internal thermostat is on the fritz:

🌿 Summer Survival Tips for Hot Flashes:

✅ Wear light, breathable fabrics (hello, linen + cotton!)
✅ Keep a cooling towel or fan in your bag
✅ Hydrate like it’s your job—ice water is your BFF
✅ Skip spicy foods + sip on cucumber-mint water instead
✅ Cool showers or a quick foot soak = instant relief
✅ Meditate or breathe deeply to stay stress-free

☀️ Pro Tip: Avoid peak heat between 11 AM – 3 PM. Your body will thank you.

Menopause doesn’t take a summer break—but you can still feel chill through the heat. 💧💛
