Join us this Sunday as Team LUNGevity's own Christine Abraham takes on the challenge of the United Airlines NYC Half. It's not just about the race for Christine; she's running for a cause close to her heart.

As Christine enters her 40th year, she's driven by a powerful purpose. She runs in memory of her mother, whom she lost to breast cancer just as she was completing her PhD in cancer research. This personal tragedy has spurred her on, not only to push her limits in running but also in her groundbreaking work on lung cancer treatments. Christine shares, “I’m motivated to have fewer people experience what I did and use my knowledge, transferable skills, and passion for improving cancer outcomes to make sure of that.”

Her dedication to her research and this race is a beacon of hope. "I’m proud to be doing the work that I do for the people it helps every day." Let's cheer for Christine and the rest of our incredible team as they dedicate each mile to bringing us closer to a future where no one dies of lung cancer. Go ! 💙
